Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" Returns After a Decade, Dropping December 2026

The Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" is confirmed to release on December 12, 2026 under style code CT8012-900, timed to the movie's 30th anniversary. This black patent leather silhouette that once accompanied Michael Jordan onto the big screen is set for its fourth return to market.

Black patent leather wrapping ballistic nylon uppers, white midsoles paired with an icy translucent outsole — this combo actually appeared on the movie screen before it ever hit retail shelves. When Michael Jordan wore this pair while filming Space Jam, the Air Jordan 11 hadn't even officially released yet, giving the "Space Jam" colorway a backstory unlike any other Jordan silhouette from the very start.

Jordan Brand has confirmed the Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" will return on December 12, 2026 under style code CT8012-900, timed precisely with the film's 30th anniversary. Full official images haven't dropped yet, but based on available clues, this release should stay true to the original colorway: black patent leather uppers paired with ballistic nylon mesh, white midsoles and icy outsoles staying unchanged, while the Jumpman is expected to come in "Varsity Royal" blue, setting it apart from the "Concord" and "Bred" pairs releasing around the same time.

This pair has previously been retroed in 2000, 2009, and 2016 — making this the fourth comeback after a decade-long wait. For sneakerheads who missed out on earlier drops, or those whose yellowed pair is finally ready for retirement, this restock is basically a fresh shot at grabbing one.

Official pricing hasn't been announced yet, but expect a full range of adult and grade school sizing, with this release shaping up to be no small drop.
