J.Crew x Vans Premium Authentic Gets a Second Life, White/Dark Green Returns to Its Roots

J.Crew and Vans are bringing back the Premium Authentic, their collab silhouette that first dropped in 2025, keeping the same eight-ounce canvas and waffle outsole but this time dressed in a low-key white base with dark green side stripes.

J.Crew x Vans Premium Authentic Gets a Second Life, White/Dark Green Returns to Its Roots

A shoe that was hard to get is coming back for round two — J.Crew and Vans have reworked the Premium Authentic, the collab silhouette that first launched in 2025. The construction and craftsmanship stay untouched, just a fresh colorway hitting shelves.

The shoe is built on Vans' original Authentic — the brand's very first silhouette, originally sold under the name #44 Deck Shoe, and the model that essentially launched the entire Vans lineup. The Premium Authentic bulks up the original with eight-ounce all-cotton canvas uppers paired with a waffle rubber outsole, keeps Vans' signature heel tab on the side, and swaps in fatigue-resistant Sola Foam ADC cushioning for the insole, aimed at all-day comfort.

This reissue comes in Classic White, keeping things deliberately clean with just a thin dark green stripe running along the side as the only accent. Understated is the whole point — rather than chasing a flashy hype shoe, J.Crew seems to be going for something more like a staple that sticks around in your closet and gets worn daily, letting the materials do the talking instead of the design.
