Inside Kith Vancouver: walnut, stone thresholds and a separate Treats entrance

Kith’s second Canadian flagship places the brand’s world in Oakridge Park’s North Arcade in Vancouver. Opened on October 23, Kith Vancouver combines menswear, womenswear, childrenswear and a dedicated Kith Treats space, designed by Ronnie Fieg with Ben Porto of Porto Architecture. Dark timber walls, a lighter womenswear setting and an independent dessert entrance explain different ways to pause at one address beyond the new products on sale.

Dark wood and stone connect menswear to footwear

Walnut, brass details and velvet panels embossed with the Kith Crest establish a darker menswear background. Calacatta Vagli marble showcases bring lighter surfaces into the centre. Clothing lines the walls and accessories occupy cabinets, allowing merchandise to supply much of the colour. The entrance gains a framework for different seasons without relying only on a large logo.

A Belvedere stone threshold leads into men’s footwear, where polished Venetian plaster and horizontal shelving direct attention towards the walls. Photographs show space between benches and shelves, leaving room to select shoes, sit down and compare them. Within the dark palette, wood, plaster, stone and metal continue to handle reflections differently.

Lighter materials change the pace for women and children

The womenswear area has an additional terrace entrance, with chevron-patterned white-oak flooring, Rosa Aurora counters and materials including Emerald Quartzite. Seating and low tables suggest a living-room pause, while jewellery, bags, clothing and shoes occupy different display surfaces. Materials and light change the tone within one brand rather than creating an unrelated shop.

Kith Kids continues cloud-like ceilings and seating, mint green and brighter display compartments at a different scale from the adult areas. The changes involve how children’s products, shoe sizes and display heights are presented as well as decorative imagery. Comparing the official store photographs shows that consistency need not mean painting every wall the same colour.

A separate Kith Treats entrance allows a shorter visit

Kith Treats can be entered directly from the North Arcade and also connects internally with retail. Materials include Rosa Portugalo counters, an Azul Cielo portal, White Carrara and stainless steel. The independent entrance gives desserts a different rhythm from clothing: a visit can follow shopping or be a shorter stop of its own. Menus and availability remain subject to the store’s daily information.

Adjacent Kith and Kith Treats entrances
Treats and clothing have separate entrances while remaining connected.

The store is on West 41st Avenue at Oakridge Park. Official hours are 10am–7pm Monday–Wednesday, 10am–9pm Thursday–Saturday and 11am–7pm Sunday, with details on Kith’s official Vancouver introduction. The opening also included early access to Salomon footwear, but the store’s longer-term interest lies in daylight and circulation: shelves, seats, dark wood and pale stone accommodate visitors moving at different speeds.
