KOLON MALL OUTLET opens in Gwangju Suwan: two shopping layouts and on-site repair intake
KOLON brings its online outlet concept into a Gwangju store, arranging the first floor by brand and the second by purpose. Its October 27 announcement follows the actual October 23 opening.
KOLON FnC announced its Gwangju Suwan store on October 27, bringing the outlet concept of its KOLON MALL online store into a physical space. The location opened on October 23, 2026, rather than today. For travelers including Korean clothing shopping in their itinerary, the point extends beyond discounts: one building combines individual brand areas, cross-brand category comparisons and on-site repair intake.
Shop by brand downstairs and by purpose upstairs
Located in Docheon-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, the store occupies a standalone building with a broad glass facade. The company lists roughly 64 dedicated parking spaces. Its release describes both a three-story building and approximately 630 Korean pyeong of retail space on floors one and two. That area is about 2,080 square meters; it is not 630 Taiwanese ping, nor does it mean all three floors are shopping space.
The first-floor brand outlet zone includes KOLON SPORT, series, Henry Cotton’s, Lucky Chouette and WAAC, with separate display areas. The second floor groups merchandise into outdoor, golf, menswear and womenswear categories. Shoppers seeking a familiar brand can begin downstairs; those looking for a commuting jacket or an outdoor mid-layer can compare fits, materials and prices across brands more directly in the category-based layout.
The second floor organizes clothing into categories such as menswear for comparison.
Repair intake does not mean every alteration is free
Another distinction is the transfer of KOLON MALL’s after-sales repair intake to the store. The company says products from all KOLON FnC brands can be submitted, with dedicated staff offering consultations. Depending on the purchase amount, some simple trouser alterations may be handled immediately on-site free of charge. Acceptance for assessment and free alteration are separate matters: the release provides no universal spending threshold and does not promise immediate work on every material, damaged item or trouser-length adjustment.
Official photographs show continuous clothing rails, clear brand or MEN signage and central aisles that preserve sightlines. Clothing is presented in a bright environment conducive to comparison. If shopping on the final day of a trip, whether alterations can be collected that day directly affects the itinerary. Asking about the work and turnaround before selecting clothing is more useful than treating repairs as an automatic extra after checkout.
The first floor separates brands while central aisles preserve open sightlines.
Address, hours and conditions of the current offer
The store’s official event page gives 542 Imbangul-daero, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, opposite De Mer wedding hall. Opening hours are 10 a.m.–8 p.m. daily, with telephone 062-955-5550. The preregistration tumbler offer for the first three opening days, October 23–25, has ended and should not be presented as a gift available today. The company’s figure of over 6,000 visitors in those three days is corporate reporting, not evidence of an identical queue now.
The event page also lists a KRW5,000 coupon for OLO members, valid only at Suwan with a minimum KRW30,000 purchase, once per person, through November 15, and not combinable with other coupons. It is not an automatic extra discount on every item. Check the official Suwan event page and individual terms before traveling, and compare available sizes, stock and alteration quotes together to make the outlet a purposeful stop.
