nonnative x Converse GORE-TEX Centerzip Ox Returns, Ivory Colorway Gets Distressed Soles

After selling out its initial release, nonnative and Converse are dropping the All Star GORE-TEX Centerzip Ox again this week. The waterproof functionality and front-zip design remain intact, but the outsole now comes with a distressed treatment for a worn-in look.

When a sneaker gets a re-release, it usually means the original run sold out fast. That's exactly the case with the All Star GORE-TEX Centerzip Ox from the nonnative x Converse collaboration — after a successful initial launch, the shoe is officially making its comeback this week.

This time around, there's no new colorway — the shoe sticks with the original ivory-white tone as its base. The upper carries over the signature centerzip design from before, with the zipper and eyelets finished in silver metal hardware, adding a touch of industrial edge to the otherwise minimalist palette. Inside, it's built with GORE-TEX waterproof breathable fabric — the core functional selling point of this shoe from day one, letting you wear it in the rain while keeping your feet breathable.

What's worth noting this time is the outsole treatment. The thick rubber sole has been intentionally faded and distressed, giving the shoe a "already broken-in" look right out of the box. This approach bridges GORE-TEX's high-performance functionality with the worn, weathered aesthetic canvas sneakers are known for — arguably the most direct design statement in this re-release.

No official release date or pricing details have been confirmed yet. Interested readers should keep an eye out for further updates from Converse and nonnative on retail availability.
