OpenSea officially supports Solana NFT transactions, more than four years after the initial beta test

OpenSea announced that it has added Solana NFT trading support to the platform. Users can now buy, sell and exchange digital collectibles on the Solana chain on OpenSea. The launch time of this feature is particularly worth mentioning: According to The Block, OpenSea initially conducted beta testing of Solana NFT, and this official support has been more than four years since the beta stage that year.

In the past four years, the Solana ecological NFT market has experienced its own ups and downs and reshuffles, and native platforms such as Magic Eden have also gained a foothold during this period. OpenSea chooses to complete Solana support at this moment, which is equivalent to adding a long overdue piece of the puzzle of a multi-chain trading platform.

At present, the public information is limited to the function launch itself. OpenSea has not disclosed whether there are further fee adjustments, cross-chain integration or other supporting plans.
