RHODOLIRION reshapes winter layers with KAWADA DOWN vests and quilted hooded coats
RHODOLIRION introduces two KAWADA DOWN silhouettes for autumn/winter 2026: an adjustable high-collar vest and a diamond-quilted hooded coat, with Japanese prices and vest measurements.
Winter outerwear can change a look through shape. For autumn/winter 2026, RHODOLIRION uses Kawada Feather’s KAWADA DOWN in a vest and a hooded coat. NEPENTHES announced their arrival on October 30. The vest combines a high stand collar with an adjustable hem, while the coat introduces diamond quilting and corduroy piping. Japanese listed prices are ¥74,800 for the vest and ¥85,800 for the coat, offering two approaches to winter layering.

From Kawada feathers to everyday layers
The shared material is KAWADA DOWN, processed by Japan’s Kawada Feather. The brand describes washing and refining the down with exceptionally soft water from Mie Prefecture, emphasizing cleanliness and its ability to regain loft. These are the brand’s material descriptions; warmth in use also varies with temperature, wind and inner layers. Start with your routine: a vest over a sweater for a short commute, or an outer layer with more coverage, then compare the cuts.
The vest’s defining feature is a high collar that surrounds the neck. In the official red product photograph, the collar and front placket form a rounded line, punctuated by dark snaps. Black directs attention toward the down compartments and pockets. Storage is provided at the chest and both sides. A hem drawcord changes the outline from an A-line to a rounder balloon shape, giving different inner layers and proportions a place within the same piece.

The official red TX1044A page specifies a polyester shell, described as recycled polyester, with a filling of 90% down and 10% feathers, made in Japan. Size 0 measures 68 cm in length, 40.5 cm across the shoulders and 57.5 cm across the body; size 1 measures 73, 41.5 and 60 cm respectively. These are that product’s garment measurements. Compare them with a familiar vest laid flat and allow room for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath.
The hooded coat follows a different rhythm. Recycled polyester outer fabric meets corduroy piping, while diamond stitching gives its generous volume a defined structure. Official photographs show a roomy body, hood and front snaps with an outward-spreading shape. The brand describes a length that covers the hips. Black keeps the palette quiet; olive brings out the contrast of the trim. This is an option for letting one winter outer layer lead a simple outfit.

Compare measurements and buying regions first
The vest comes in red and black, and the coat in olive and black. Red could sit against grey knitwear and dark trousers; a black vest could frame the neckline of a shirt or hoodie. With the coat, the quilting and broad outline already provide visual presence, leaving straight trousers or a simple skirt to support its shape. These are styling ideas drawn from the product appearance; fit and proportions will depend on the wearer.

The collection is offered through NEPENTHES stores and its official online shop. The red vest page limits purchases to two of each colour and size per person, and states that the Japanese website does not accept international orders. Store and online stock can differ, so confirm the relevant size and availability with the chosen shop. This announcement does not establish Taiwan pricing or supply; the Japanese prices and verified measurements provide a starting point for comparing the two silhouettes.
