For anyone looking to swap a city bar for a seaside dance floor this Halloween, The Standard Hua Hin is holding Halloween After Dark: The Standard Beach Party on October 31. The event runs from 5 pm until midnight at The Beachfront Lawn. This is a paid commercial event organized by the hotel, featuring DJ performances, seasonal drinks and a costume competition. Admission and tables have separate packages, rather than being ordinary guest facilities or a free beach activity.

Four DJs, five sets: planning an evening through midnight

The music schedule has five blocks, but not five separate DJs. James Clark opens from 5–7 pm, followed by Martin Everitt from 7–8 pm and Bonita Everitt from 8–9 pm. B2B Everitt occupies the 9–10 pm back-to-back slot, with Petey closing from 10 pm until midnight. Distinguishing the number of performance blocks from the number of people avoids reading a shared set as an additional guest.

For those who prefer an early start, 5 pm admission makes it possible to stay from early evening into the night. Anyone coming mainly for a later DJ can plan dinner and transport around the published slots. The costume competition will reward the evening’s two most distinctively dressed participants; the event page has not specified individual prizes. A clear overall silhouette can provide the basis for an outfit, with accessories and makeup supplying recognizable details. For moving around the seafront, stable, comfortable shoes make sense, rather than concentrating every visual idea into props that are difficult to walk with.

THB 450 tickets and three table packages: what is included?

Individual presale tickets cost THB 450, while door tickets cost THB 550. Both are advertised at net prices and include one drink. For the same individual admission and one-drink inclusion, buying in advance saves THB 100. One included drink does not mean unlimited drinks all night, nor establish that every signature cocktail is available as the included choice.

Table packages combine admission with bottled spirits and mixers. The Trick costs THB 5,500 net, including four tickets, one bottle of spirits and six mixers. The Treat is THB 9,500 net, with six tickets, two bottles of spirits and 12 mixers. After Dark is THB 14,000 net, with eight tickets, three bottles of spirits and 18 mixers. At full group size, that works out to approximately THB 1,375, THB 1,583.33 and THB 1,750 per person respectively. These figures are simply package totals divided by included ticket counts, rather than separately advertised individual table tickets.

From seaside seating to a nighttime dance floor

The setting offers more to examine than a dance floor. The hotel’s public seaside photographs show shade trees, hedges and seating facing the water. Grey curved seating with yellow cushions forms one gathering area; thatched parasols, wooden chairs and pink cushions create another at a different scale. Low daytime seating leaves the horizon open, contrasting with the dense rhythm of cut-paper flags and raised hands in the nighttime promotional photograph. These images show existing spaces and a promotional mood, not the October 31 event before it has happened, and they do not guarantee the same table arrangement that evening.

The hotel is at 59 Naresdamri Road in Hua Hin. Enquiries and bookings are available through Tickets & Tables on the official event page, or by calling +66 32 535 999. Confirm group size and drink inclusions before choosing a package. If staying until midnight, arrange the return ride and accommodation in advance so that nighttime travel is part of the Hua Hin itinerary.
