Tokyo Verdy and WHIZ Sew Supporter Culture Into the Unity Coat

A supporter’s towel can be more than something raised in the stands: it can become part of a coat’s construction. Tokyo Verdy and Tokyo streetwear brand WHIZLIMITED launched the UNITY COAT and UNITY TOWEL MUFFLER on October 25, connecting supporters, the club and everyday city dressing through “For the supporters. For the team.” The official shop takes made-to-order purchases subject to production limits, rather than offering immediate dispatch from stock. That distinction deserves attention before even choosing a size.

The Towel Becomes Part of the Garment

Based on a military-style parka silhouette, the UNITY COAT integrates part of the UNITY TOWEL MUFFLER into the right sleeve, adds a V motif on the back and features a removable club badge on the left chest. Team identity therefore moves beyond a single chest graphic and into the sleeve and back. It brings a visible expression of support into everyday dressing without requiring a separate scarf every time. This is a design integration, rather than a promise of additional warmth or athletic performance.

The official specification describes the coat as using densely woven, 100% cotton Ventile and highlights its water-repellent properties. That does not establish complete waterproofing or independently tested comfort in every climate. Patterns in the towel insert can differ slightly between pieces, and the shop warns that frequency of wear may cause fraying. Appreciating this garment includes accepting the fabric and construction, rather than imagining a natural textile as a maintenance-free technical shell.

Long Proportions and Club Green in Everyday Dressing

The published campaign pairs the olive-green coat with denim and dark trousers, allowing team lettering to become a focal point while retaining the weight of a long outer layer. Do not choose solely by your usual T-shirt size: official measurements give size M a 99 cm length and 70 cm body width, and L a 106 cm length and 74 cm width. These are flat measurements, not chest circumference. Compare them with a coat laid flat at home and allow for the thickness of layers underneath.

Sold separately, the UNITY TOWEL MUFFLER uses large team lettering and the crest, with a polyester construction measuring approximately 110 × 20 cm. It shares the coat’s supporter vocabulary, but offers a different price and way to participate. Choose according to whether you want to display the club identity at a match or use it in everyday styling. The photographs present clothing and pitch-side contexts; they do not mean everyone pictured is wearing an official match uniform or the same product set.

When Will the JPY 55,000 Coat Arrive?

The UNITY COAT costs JPY 55,000 including tax, limited to one per person in a single order; the towel is JPY 2,500 including tax, limited to five per person in a single order. The current official estimate is sequential dispatch from late December 2026 through mid-January 2027. Production or order volume may cause delays, so delivery during a particular trip cannot be guaranteed. Production capacity also limits orders, and placing an item in a cart does not reserve it.

The official shop currently ships within Japan only. Made-to-order items generally cannot be changed or cancelled, and restrictions apply to combining them with other products. Check the club’s official coat page before deciding, rather than letting enthusiasm obscure delivery conditions. The original Fullress source page includes commercial promotional links. The collaboration’s interest lies in how Tokyo streetwear transforms a familiar supporter material into a design that can be worn beyond the stadium.
