FRAMED at Tai Kwun on October 30–31: free entry, art-inspired costumes and first-drink conditions

Tai Kwun in Central, Hong Kong, is turning Halloween into an evening gallery in which visitors can take part. FRAMED at Tai Kwun runs on October 30 and 31, 2026, from 19:00 to 22:00 in the Prison Yard, with free admission. The organisers combine art, heritage architecture, lighting and dining, inviting guests to wear art-inspired costumes. The complimentary first drink has separate costume, TK FAN membership and on-site redemption conditions; simply entering Tai Kwun does not provide free drinks at every bar.
Two evenings, 19:00–22:00: where does the costume event take place?
The venue is Tai Kwun's Prison Yard at 10 Hollywood Road, Central, Hong Kong. Once a prison complex and now an arts and cultural destination, Tai Kwun plays on the idea of being framed and displayed, with costumed visitors moving through it like living artworks. Dramatic lighting installations are part of the official preview. Its promotional visual is not documentation of the two future evenings, nor does the event make every exhibition on the site free.
The invitation treats clothing as a creative act rather than only a Halloween purchase. Think about favourite colours, silhouettes or artistic images while considering movement and photographs in a heritage setting. This is a two-night commercial seasonal programme. Its announced 19:00–22:00 schedule applies to FRAMED, rather than establishing every restaurant's hours or the validity period of every dining offer.
How do you redeem the first drink? Membership, then a physical voucher
The published process is to arrive in costume, download the TK APP and register as a TK FAN. Scan the QR code supplied on site through the app, show staff to receive a physical drink voucher, then take it to the designated restaurant. Each TK FAN can redeem one drink, and each voucher can be used once. Quotas are limited and redemption is first come, first served while stocks last. These are the membership promotion's conditions; they do not make membership a condition of ordinary free admission to Tai Kwun.
The voucher is surrendered on redemption. Photocopies are not accepted, it cannot be combined with other promotions, lost vouchers are not replaced and defaced or damaged ones are invalid. It cannot be exchanged for cash, resold or used for commercial promotion. Alcoholic drinks are for people aged 18 or above, a restriction distinct from general event admission. The main page does not promise that every drink in the photographs is available through this voucher. Check the designated outlet and eligible choices instead of assuming your preferred order is included.

Four dining destinations: separate photographs from your spending plan
Tai Kwun also provides a Bar Hopping Map linking seasonal programmes at 001, Botanical Garden, PAZTA, and SUSHI MASA BLACK with MASA LOUNGE. Official images range from red and orange stemmed cocktails to green drinks and varied glass shapes. For a later stop, separately check each outlet's bookings, spending requirements and offer restrictions.
