ZOZOTOWN’s Seoul pop-up runs until October 31: Japanese labels, Seongsu experiences and online dates
ZOZOTOWN and MUSINSA’s project spans 15 Japanese labels, with some available online only. The Seongsu pop-up ends October 31 and the online project November 16; explore its space and accessories while distinguishing expired opening offers.
A walk through Seongsu offers a way to compare different Japanese wardrobes. ZOZOTOWN’s first Korean pop-up, developed with MUSINSA, runs at MUSINSA STORE Seongsu from October 16 to 31. The collaboration covers 15 Japanese fashion labels, with some sold online only. From BEAUTY&YOUTH UNITED ARROWS and URBAN RESEARCH to WYM LIDNM, the platform places different styles within one selection, while physical displays turn browsing pages into a space for approaching fabrics and silhouettes.
ZOZOTOWN and MUSINSA representatives discuss their collaboration in the brand display space at the October 16 media event.
A black cube and crosswalk turn browsing into a street crossing
A large black cube carrying the ZOZOTOWN name sits at the center, with white pedestrian-crossing stripes on the floor and clothing rails, mannequins and screens around it. The ZOZO IS COMING TO TOWN concept uses an intersection to represent Japanese and Korean fashion meeting. Rather than relying solely on a photo backdrop, the floor graphics connect the product areas, making circulation part of the space’s identity.
Clothing rails, bags and wall branding organize different products within the pop-up.
For menswear readers, starting with casual pieces from BEAUTY&YOUTH and URBAN RESEARCH before comparing participating labels such as MONO-MART, GRANCY and ADRER is more specific than remembering only the platform name. The collaboration’s participant list also includes SNIDEL, SNIDEL HOME and merry jenny, so the overall project is not exclusively menswear-focused; actual in-store displays should be checked at the venue. Shirts, knitwear, outerwear, loose trousers and decorative details can be compared across the selection, whose scope differs from a single menswear specialist.
Compare accessories, without carrying expired offers forward
Accessories shown by the organizer include merry jenny ribbon bags and lace pochettes, SNIDEL HOME canvas totes and WYM LIDNM suede shoulder bags. Placing them beside different garments suggests ways of adding one detail to an existing wardrobe rather than buying a complete outfit every time. Feel, capacity and strap proportions still need to be considered item by item rather than applying one brand mood to every bag.
The on-site Coin Tour awards coins for missions such as liking participating brands’ MUSINSA pages, following ZOZOTOWN and posting venue photos, or completing a survey. Each mission earns one coin, up to three per person, for draws offering discount coupons or sticker packs. This does not guarantee everyone the maximum discount. In particular, the opening early-arrival 50%-off coupon was distributed only from October 16 to 20 and has ended. Even if old promotional artwork remains visible, that offer should not be presented as available to arrivals on October 25.
The store ends October 31; the online selection continues for over two more weeks
The companies signed a partnership memorandum in December 2024, then opened a MUSINSA section on ZOZOTOWN on November 6, 2025, first taking Korean brands into Japan. This Seongsu pop-up reverses that direction. For people who usually discover Japanese clothing on a phone, its value is comparing several brands in one location. A platform collaboration should not be equated with each brand having established a permanent Korean shop.
The physical store is at 74 Seongsui-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, open daily from 11:00 to 22:00 during the event. The MUSINSA online selection continues until November 16, a separate deadline. Its themes cover Japanese brands, styling and Tokyo shopping, allowing research before examining clothes in person. Local prices, sizes and stock may differ, and photographs cannot establish the arrival of every collection. Draw rewards and shopping-gift bags are also quantity-limited, so make choosing clothes the main activity and treat giveaways as an extra.
