adidas × Tyrrell Winston’s The Fan: red-and-white Spiritain 2000 connects the sofa with Midwest workwear
The third chapter places supporters at the centre of red-and-white footwear and workwear. Released October 22, the shoe is $150 in the release but $160 on the official US listing; check regional pricing.
adidas and Detroit-based artist Tyrrell Winston released The Fan, their third collaborative chapter, on October 22, 2026. After earlier chapters focused on the artist and athlete, this collection gives the spotlight to supporters who return season after season. It includes TW Spiritain 2000, Z.N.E. outerwear, workwear trousers, T-shirts and caps. The campaign’s interest is that it looks beyond the court, placing red-and-white shoes beside a basketball, a sofa and the posture of watching television.
How does Spiritain 2000 bring supporters into the design?
TW Spiritain 2000 takes its outline from turn-of-the-millennium running footwear, combining mesh with cracked-leather overlays in Off-White, Grey and Equipment Red. Gold details and Winston’s signature appear on the heel and lace aglets. In official photographs, off-white overlays divide the red mesh into several zones, while the substantial midsole continues that light-and-dark segmentation. Attention settles on side layers rather than one large colour block.
One product image places a pair on a green surface beside petals; a wearing image connects dark trouser hems to the same red-and-white shoes. The difference offers a useful styling clue. An isolated product makes colour seem paramount, but with dark trousers, the pale midsole and overlays become its actual boundary. Borrowing running-shoe vocabulary does not mean this article establishes running-test results or competition suitability.
Dark trouser hems meet red-and-white shoes, making the pale midsole a clear boundary.
Where do workwear and warmer layers meet?
The clothing draws on the US Midwest workwear context associated with Winston. An oversized workwear jacket has an enzyme-washed finish and swing-back construction, which the brand presents as increasing movement space. Black workwear trousers have an elastic waistband, snap buttons, zipped front pockets and four rear pockets. Such details turn pocket layout and garment volume into styling content, giving the collaboration a focus beyond placing a name on basics.
A separate oversized Z.N.E. puffer has a removable, adjustable hood and embroidered signatures inside and on the back, with a relaxed T-shirt and 85 Cap also in the range. An official full-body image builds three colour zones from a dark-green outer layer, black trousers and red-and-white shoes. Volume stays above, trousers contain the colour and shoes restore brightness. That proportion can inform jacket length and trouser width; actual warmth still depends on surroundings and layers.
A dark-green warm outer layer, black trousers and red-and-white shoes create three colour zones.

The newsroom quotes $150 for footwear and $80–$400 for apparel, with clothing in 2XS–2XL and shoes in UK 3.5–13.5, available through stores, websites and CONFIRMED. However, the official US Spiritain listing shows $160 at the time of checking, differing from the press release. Use the local product page and checkout information when buying. The range of sizes does not establish stock for every item, and cross-border taxes and return conditions need separate checks.
Start with the official adidas The Fan collection information, then consult the relevant regional store. The chapter’s clearest message is that supporters’ everyday lives belong within sports culture. Gathering on a sofa, going to a game and walking through an ordinary day all provide settings for clothing. A complete outfit and a single pair of red-and-white shoes will communicate different emphases.
A sofa, basketball and television remote place supporters’ daily lives inside the campaign.
