AIGLE Updates RainPack Warm with Waterproof Fabric and Recycled Fill
AIGLE brings RainPack fabric into its 2026 autumn/winter insulated outerwear with REPREVE recycled fill and lining. Short jackets start at ¥38,500, with long, printed and fleece-lined options plus new dog-coat colours.
AIGLE updates its packable insulated outerwear for autumn/winter 2026, bringing the waterproof fabric used in this spring’s RainPack range into warmer designs. The RainPack Warm collection includes a new short jacket alongside long, printed and fleece-lined options, already available through the brand’s shops and online store. For people moving between commuting and travel, the useful distinctions are length, interior construction and packing needs, rather than treating every model as a colour variation of the same coat.
What do the waterproof fabric and recycled fill each do?
The outer layer uses RainPack waterproof fabric, paired with REPREVE recycled insulation and lining inside. This combines a rain-blocking exterior with an insulated construction. These are materials and functions described by the brand, not results of a TIDEZINE rain or cold-weather test. Product labels, seam construction and care instructions still matter, and the fabric name alone does not establish suitability for every extreme condition.
A published detail image shows RainPack Warm Pro lettering inside the jacket, while another presents the packed, pouch-like form. Packability can make a coat easier to organise and carry when unworn, but actual packed dimensions and weight should be checked for each model. Those often moving between indoor and outdoor spaces may also consider unpacking, putting it back on and managing it alongside other luggage.

Separating short, long and special versions
The new short jacket costs ¥38,500, the long version ¥41,800, and both the printed long and fleece-lined long versions ¥46,200. Short and long cuts first change coverage and proportions; print increases visual density, while the fleece-lined model changes the interior. Similar hooded outlines in photographs do not mean every version has exactly the same construction.
Campaign images pair relatively simple outer layers with hats and clothing underneath. Product images more clearly distinguish the burgundy short jacket, pale long coat, camouflage long coat and dark fleece-lined version. Someone whose wardrobe already includes patterned tops can consider how a plain coat works with existing trousers. Those wanting outerwear to lead the look can study the print across a full-length silhouette. These are styling observations from published photographs, not wear impressions.

Dog coats have separate prices and sizing
The collection also adds new colours to its dog coats, priced at ¥19,800. These are separate products from the adult jackets, so adult short- or long-coat prices should not be applied to them. Nor does a campaign photograph show that any dog breed will fit. Buyers should check neck, chest and back measurements against the brand’s actual sizing guidance rather than choosing from a visual impression of the dog’s size.
New colours for the dog coat require choosing by the pet’s measurements.
Prices refer to the Japanese market in yen; stockists, availability and pricing elsewhere need separate checks. Start with the official AIGLE Japan website to compare current styles and care information, then select by length and interior. This update brings rainwear fabric, insulation and a packable format together. A list of the situations in which the coat will most often be worn can help establish which features are actually needed.
