Burna Boy × On Debut: Red Cloudmonster and White ROGER Clubhouse Bring His Team Into the Picture
No Giant Stands Alone puts family and collaborators in the spotlight. Both shoes are on sale, but the range’s $150 starting price does not mean every pair costs the same.
A collaborative shoe can move attention from the musician to the people around him. Burna Boy and Swiss brand On’s first footwear collaboration contrasts an all-red Cloudmonster BB with a white THE ROGER Clubhouse BB, bringing family and collaborators into the “No Giant Stands Alone” brand campaign. Both are on sale in late October, with the range advertised from $150 USD. That is a starting price, not a single price for every model or a substitute for other markets’ pricing.
Red Connects the Upper and Midsole, Enlarging the Cloudmonster’s Voids
Cloudmonster BB carries red across laces, upper and thick midsole, while darker tonal branding preserves distinctions. Its open side structure already has a strong rhythm; all-red makes shadows within the cavities and sole height more prominent. Instead of multiple contrasting colours separating parts, one colour connects the shoe and lets light reveal layers.
The side view shows the all-red upper and hollow midsole structure.
The campaign places red shoes beside a record player, wooden floor and wide black trousers rather than showing sports footwear only on a track. Sole and hem contrast clearly, demonstrating how a bright colour can concentrate at the feet. These are arranged campaign settings and styling, not proof of suitability for every sport or a record of this publication visiting the room.
A red shoe on a record player extends the musical setting.
White Clubhouse Adds Texture and a Small Trace of Red
THE ROGER Clubhouse BB takes a lower, flatter tennis-inspired outline. White upper and sole retain subtle layers, shaggy laces introduce a close-up texture, and two red heel stitches place attention somewhere revealed when the wearer turns. Both pursue monochrome, but red enlarges volume while white reserves detail for smaller areas.
Front, side and rear-quarter views distinguish sole heights and upper coverage. Those who prefer low contrast can consider whether the white pair’s laces and heel details are enough; red can form an independent focal block. Foot shape, sizing and walking needs still require individual attention. Images show proportion, but cannot replace a proper fit assessment.
The rear view compares the heel, collar and thick sole.A rear-quarter angle reveals red stitching at the white shoe’s heel.
No Giant Stands Alone Portrays Success as Collective
Ronan McKenzie photographed the campaign, with behind-the-scenes documentary-style films by Bafic. Family, band members and touring collaborators appear alongside Burna Boy, bringing the cooperation behind a musical stage into view and echoing the campaign’s title. Group portraits establish relationships, while isolated product images let viewers examine the shoes’ actual design.
The official On website provides local product information, with Foot Locker also carrying this release. Other styles, sizes and stock require local official information; one campaign does not establish the complete assortment. Red cushioning volume and a white low-top offer different everyday choices while returning the footwear story to the people working together.
