On x atmos Cloudmonster 1 WP: ¥28,600, a November 7 Release and Raffle Dates for the Zen-Garden Design
On x atmos translates a Japanese dry garden into two Cloudmonster 1 WP colors, each ¥28,600 including tax. atmoscon offers advance sales October 31–November 1, before a November 7 general release; the raffle closes November 6 at 8:59 a.m. JST.
On and atmos’s Cloudmonster 1 WP collaboration draws on the Japanese dry-landscape garden, or karesansui. Both colors are ¥28,600 including tax, with a general release scheduled for November 7, 2026. Japan also gets advance sales at atmoscon 2026 on October 31–November 1, while online raffle entry remains open until November 6 at 8:59 a.m. Japan time. Sand and stone colors, curved patterns and city life meet through texture and space, rather than simply printing a garden on a shoe.
How does a dry garden become curves on the upper?
The idea begins with imagining water in a space without it. Photographer Taro Mizutani created the stills and film, finding curves and circles within everyday Tokyo. In product photographs, rippling lines spread across the sides, while hollow sole units repeat at another scale. Fine lines above and spaces below let the flow suggested by raked sand interact with the shoe’s construction, rather than leaving the association to a color name alone.
A Dew | Olive side view brings a pale upper together with sand-like curves.
The colors are Dew | Olive and Eclipse | Olive, with the former designated an atmos-exclusive colorway. The light version suggests pale layers of sand and stone; the darker one combines gray-black patterns and an olive collar with a similar curved language. Styling photographs use pale wide trousers and coordinated socks with light shoes, or dark clothing with dark footwear. Consider which palette appears more often in your wardrobe, then decide whether the shoe should contrast or continue the trouser line.

What defines the waterproof version, sizes and price?
The base is Cloudmonster 1 WP, the waterproof Cloudmonster variant with On’s CloudTec cushioning system. The brand describes a springy feel and waterproof treatment but supplies no complete test data or guarantee of traction on every surface in this announcement. Images clarify hollow soles, toe shape and collar; actual use still requires product instructions and a fitting. When moving from the regular version, compare enclosure and sock thickness rather than assuming identical feel from appearance alone.
Both colors share the announced price. Women’s sizes are 22.5–25.0 cm; men’s are 25.5–29.0 cm, plus 30.0 cm. Those ranges do not promise every size at every shop. Listed channels include atmos and atmos pink stores and online, On Flagship Store Tokyo Ginza, On Store Tokyo Cat Street and on.com; check individual color and size supply. Using the full Cloudmonster 1 WP atmos name also helps avoid confusion with other collaborations or standard waterproof versions.
A full pale look continues low-saturation colors between shoes and wide trousers.
How do the raffle, advance sales and sand-pattern experience fit together?
The official raffle runs from October 22 at 1 p.m. Japan time until November 6 at 8:59 a.m., equivalent to October 22 at noon through November 6 at 7:59 a.m. in Taiwan. Advance sales take place October 31–November 1 at atmoscon in Shinjuku Sumitomo Building’s Sankaku Hiroba, 2-6-1 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. Advance sales, raffle entry and the November 7 general release are three separate arrangements; taking part in one does not automatically grant purchasing eligibility through another.
The event also previews a sand-pattern machine that changes patterns according to sound frequencies entered through a trackpad, letting visitors approach the garden concept through sound and moving sand. This is an upcoming installation rather than documentation of an event already held. See atmos’s official announcement for product and event details. For a Tokyo itinerary, check admission and shoe-sales rules separately, then connect the upper’s pattern, urban imagery and installation as one story.
