The laurel wreath logo has always played it low-key, but this time it's getting slammed with a jolt of neon. The latest collab between COMME des GARÇONS and Fred Perry targets the most understated spot on the shirt — the embroidered badge on the chest — stacking both brand logos together and putting the polo's steady, classic base head-to-head with an avant-garde brand's edge.

The collaboration sticks with Fred Perry's signature 100% cotton piqué fabric and regular fit, keeping the twin tipping on the collar and cuffs intact — basically leaving the most iconic bones of the shirt untouched. The only thing actually rewritten is one detail: next to the laurel wreath logo, the COMME des GARÇONS wordmark has been added, stitched in neon green or neon pink thread that pops hard against the black polo. Both colorways use black as the base, one paired with neon green embroidery and the other with neon pink, putting that contrast right on the chest for everyone to see.

This isn't the first time these two brands have crossed paths, but the changes here are deliberately kept minimal — no re-cut silhouette, no mixed materials, just a single embroidery colorway doing all the work to test how much conflict a classic piece can handle. For anyone familiar with Fred Perry, that restraint reads as more provocative than a full redesign ever could.

Both colorways of the collab polo are now available on Fred Perry's official website, priced at £130 (roughly NT$5,700).
