Eastpak × Crush backpack launches online October 26: D-rings, badges and letter charms customize a black classic

Eastpak and Crush turn a familiar black backpack into music merchandise that can be rearranged by its owner. Based on the Padded Pak’r, the collaboration is scheduled to launch online through Korea’s MUSINSA DROP at 11:00 on October 26, with an announced price of KRW169,000 and product code EPGBC2U90BK. This commercial brand-and-artist project keeps the curved body and front pocket rather than covering them with a giant portrait, adding metal D-rings, badges and removable charms instead. The original release information also discloses advertising or affiliate marketing.

The black outline remains; customization starts with four D-rings

The front product image shows four metal D-rings distributed across the upper main body and near the front pocket’s top edge, rather than a single decoration attached to the carry handle. Black webbing secures the D-shaped rings, whose bright surfaces form points against the dark background. Charms can be spread out or gathered on one side. The basic structure and personal decorations are thus separated: the main zipped section and front storage pocket remain recognizable while accessory placement changes the visual emphasis.

Crush’s campaign pairs a silver-gray jacket with the black bag, making the metallic charms echo the brightness of the clothing. The rear-view styling also shows the decoration concentrated on the bag’s outward-facing surface; recognizing the collaboration does not require changing a whole outfit. For a wardrobe dominated by plain tops, black with a little silver offers a way to focus attention on one accessory without repeating the same logo across the body.

Badges, letter pins and a character charm are different accessories

The accompanying DIY kit includes three badge designs, a silver-colored keyring and a safety pin carrying Crush letter charms. Close-ups show one badge reading Built To Resist alongside graphic badges. Separate C, R, U, S and H letters hang in small chains from the long pin. Their different sizes and reflective surfaces can register as details close to the bag or increase the visual density when grouped on the front pocket.

The silver-colored character charm has a face and chain, and images also show earphone-related objects, making it easy to assume everything forms one fixed package. Buyers should distinguish the bag’s decorating kit from separately conditional gifts. Launch information mentions earphones bearing Crush’s handwriting for early purchasers, but that does not establish a gift for every buyer or wireless noise cancellation and particular battery specifications. Likewise, a metallic silver appearance does not establish solid-silver construction.

Check the version and everyday purpose as well as the launch time

This MUSINSA DROP is a limited-release project. Its identifying elements are the D-rings, decorating kit and product code, rather than simply the common Padded Pak’r name. A similar-looking regular black version may not include the same accessories. That affects price comparisons: a standard bag is not an equivalent package, and the clothing in the campaign is not included in the backpack price.

Current information establishes the design, kit and online launch arrangements, but not a complete weight, inner-pocket measurement or laptop-protection specification for this collaboration. Specifications from other Padded Pak’r versions should not automatically be carried over. KRW169,000 is the announced Korean price, with offers and gifts subject to official checkout conditions, rather than a Taiwanese price including shipping. For commuting, first establish what needs to fit and how it should be organized, then decide whether dangling charms suit your style; that is more useful than buying solely because the word limited appears.
