EDITION’s 22-piece EDITOR’S PICK: six outerwear styles, three ways to dress
EDITION SENSIBILITY builds workday and weekend combinations around six outerwear choices, from dyed blousons and corduroy to padded overshirts and Balmacaan coats.
Korean menswear brand EDITION SENSIBILITY introduces EDITOR’S PICK for fall/winter 2026: a wardrobe proposal built around 22 pieces, with six outerwear styles at its center. Its “ONE ITEM, 3WAYS” approach combines the same outer layer in three ways for work and weekends. The useful question is how many shirts, knits and trousers an outerwear purchase can reconnect with in an existing wardrobe, rather than simply how it looks in one complete campaign outfit.
This is the Shinsung Tongsang brand’s first curated collection. Selection criteria include design, practicality and the potential to combine with other pieces. The 22 items cover knits, sweaters, shirts and trousers, while six outerwear options supply different outer silhouettes. It works as a guide that narrows the choices: decide on the outer layer first, then adjust the layers beneath it and the proportions of the lower half.
How do the dyed blouson and corduroy jacket differ?
Two representative jackets put dye effects at the center of their appearance. The dye-effect blouson uses a washed finish for vintage-looking color, with lightweight padding and an elasticated hem. From a styling perspective, the gathered hem can concentrate the upper silhouette. When layering a shirt or knit underneath, compare the amount of hem showing and how the trouser waist changes the proportions.
The dye-effect corduroy jacket has three buttons and a raised ribbed texture. Suggested combinations range from T-shirts and knits to shirts and tailored trousers. Different necklines and trouser shapes alter the formality of the same jacket. Brown tones also provide a way to compare the light-and-dark balance of beige trousers, denim and darker bottoms without using one texture throughout an outfit.
A short brown jacket combines with a checked shirt, light knit and beige trousers.
A padded overshirt or a Balmacaan coat?
The checked padded overshirt uses a wool blend and lightweight filling, positioning it between shirt and jacket. It can be worn alone or layered with a zip-up hoodie or knit. The Balmacaan wool coat uses a dense wool-blend fabric for a neater, longer silhouette. With the overshirt, consider whether its checks compete with patterns underneath. With the coat, look at the relationship between coat length and trouser hems when choosing a workday or weekend direction.
Where can you see the selection and styling?
EDITOR’S PICK is presented through Goodwear Mall. In Korea, selected stores including Lotte Department Store Cheongnyangni, Starfield Anseong and Hyundai Outlet Dongdaemun use guides and product displays to explain the selection. Information published on October 26 names 20 participating key stores nationwide, although individual styles and sizes depend on the location. Start at the official Goodwear Mall entry page to find the brand and curated guide, then check the pieces you need.
The proposal is most useful when considered alongside clothes already owned. Imagine one jacket with a shirt and tailored trousers, a knit and denim, or a T-shirt and casual trousers, then compare changes in shoes and necklines. The news material does not provide full fiber compositions, prices or all sizes for the four outerwear pieces. Read each product’s labeling before buying. Three-way dressing is a styling method; actual warmth and fit depend on construction, layering and personal needs.
