FUTURE ARCHIVE x Road Sign Taipei Pop-up Runs to November 22

Tokyo street style has another physical point of entry in Taipei’s Dadaocheng. BEAMS project FUTURE ARCHIVE and select shop Road Sign are running a Taipei pop-up through November 22, open daily from 13:00 to 21:00. Alongside the 2026 autumn/winter collection and the return of some popular pieces, the event introduces three collaborations: the FADE SHORT M-65 jacket, RANDOM STUDS BELT and GRAPHIC T SHIRT. They address silhouette, waist-level detail and upper-body graphics respectively.

A shorter military jacket changes proportion, with black drawing the eye together

The FADE SHORT M-65 reinterprets an existing brand design in black. Its interest lies in how the shorter length concentrates pockets, fastening and shoulder lines on the upper body. Military details remain, while a jacket associated with covering the body becomes a shorter silhouette that interacts with a trouser waistband. When trying this type of jacket, compare the front fastened and open to see how much of the layer underneath appears, rather than judging by a flat length measurement alone.

The RANDOM STUDS BELT uses specially cracked leather and metal studs. In the brand images it creates a horizontal accent between dark trousers and a lighter top. Reflections from hardware and the cracked surface add layers even within a restricted palette. Its visual weight also depends on styling: with the waist exposed it becomes a visible element, while under a long top it remains a more everyday detail.

The graphic tee and six campaign images show different ways of dressing

The GRAPHIC T SHIRT places a substantial red-and-black graphic on a white body, concentrating attention on the chest. Compared with the military jacket’s structure and belt’s materials, it establishes recognition through a flat image. Publicity styling pairs it with dark trousers and a studded belt, showing how the collaborations’ different design languages can connect. There is no need to wear everything together: one focal point can lead while other clothing recedes.

Other looks in the same campaign include a brown jacket, camouflage bottoms and a distressed black top, moving between a wall of food photographs, steps and everyday urban settings. These images allow comparisons of how material, length and width change one person’s outline. Not every garment pictured should be labelled one of the three Taipei collaborations. The six brand campaign photographs retained here illustrate those differences; their locations are not presented as documentary images of the pop-up interior.

Separate the collaborations from the autumn/winter collection when visiting

The pop-up brings the three collaborations, new autumn/winter pieces and some returning items into one project, offering a physical way to reconsider the relationship between archive references and present-day clothing. Aged surfaces, military lines and graphic tees carry familiar clothing memories. An in-person comparison can be more concrete: how a short jacket meets a particular trouser length, whether a belt is hidden by the hem, and how much print remains visible under another layer.

Road Sign is in Taipei’s Dadaocheng, and the event runs until November 22. If travelling for a particular collaboration, ask the store about sizes and stock first; other autumn/winter selections depend on the actual display. Opening parties mentioned in the original announcement are past events, not programmes available tonight. This guide covers the ongoing retail presentation and design details without adding unannounced prices or discounts, or assuming a returning item means every size has been replenished.
