The tour is called "To Whom It Still Concerns"—a twist on the classic letter opener "To Whom It May Concern," swapping one word to shift the meaning from "may" to "still." For a duo that vanished for 18 years, the title alone speaks volumes.

Gnarls Barkley—the duo of CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse—have announced a North American tour launching in November, their first tour run since 2008. The North American leg kicks off November 5 at The Masonic in San Francisco, hitting The Wiltern in Los Angeles, Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, The Fillmore Detroit, Citizens House Of Blues in Boston, The Fillmore Silver Spring, HISTORY in Toronto, and Irving Plaza in New York, before wrapping up November 28 at House Of Blues Chicago.

Come December, they'll head to the UK for four shows: Manchester Academy, O2 Academy Glasgow, Wolverhampton Civic Hall, and the brand-new British Airways ARC venue in London.

CeeLo Green said of the tour: "Gnarls Barkley's 'To Whom It Still Concerns' tour is like an open book, exploring life, death, and all the universal lessons in between. These songs are the silver lining in what was originally a sad story. Come, let's celebrate all of this beautiful madness together."

That statement carries real weight in context. Earlier this year, Gnarls Barkley broke an 18-year recording silence with the single "Pictures," the lead track off their third and final album, "Atlanta." When the album was announced in February, the duo described it as "the final chapter of the Gnarls Barkley story." The record officially dropped in March, nearly two decades after their debut "St. Elsewhere" in 2006 and follow-up "The Odd Couple" in 2008.

Green previously described "Pictures" as feeling "like coming full circle," adding: "This is a complete-circle moment—the song comes from a childhood experience."

Gnarls Barkley truly made their international mark with 2006's "Crazy," which became the first UK single ever to hit No. 1 based solely on digital downloads, holding the top spot for nine consecutive weeks. Between then and now, 18 years of silence stand in between.

UK tickets go on general sale Friday, September 25, at 10 a.m. UK time, with an artist presale running Wednesday, September 23, at the same time. For North American dates, Citi and Spotify presales begin Sunday, September 21, followed by an artist presale on Wednesday, with general sale opening Thursday, September 24, at 10 a.m. local time.
