Jorja Smith Curates All Points East Day One, Bringing R&B and Afrobeats to a London Park

Rather than simply taking the stage herself, Jorja Smith chose to step behind the scenes this time. Teaming up with her own label FAMM, she took full charge of curating day one of All Points East 2026, turning London's Victoria Park into an intimate gathering where R&B, Afrobeats, and electronic music intertwine.

The August 21 show sees Jorja Smith and Tems co-headlining, with a lineup that also includes Ayra Starr, Nia Archives, Destin Conrad, and Katy B. The casting reveals her musical taste—not chasing streaming numbers, but placing several artists with kindred spirits yet distinct textures into a single day.

Photographer Jay Lloyd captured the moods of multiple performers on site, including Odeal, Nia Archives, Uncle Waffles, Sekou, Wesley Joseph, and kwn, and also documented a glimpse of Imani Imani. These images carry none of the staged distance of a formal shoot—more like snapshots of the festival's rhythm caught in passing: the loosening backstage, the focus right before going on, and a few of the most memorable festival looks of the summer.

All Points East 2026 will unfold across two weekends, though the details made public so far are concentrated on the day Jorja Smith curated. She's made curation itself the story—not what anyone sang, but who got placed alongside whom.
