Something Firefox users have been waiting a long time for has finally landed on GeForce Now. NVIDIA has announced that Windows Firefox is now officially on the list of supported browsers, joining Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Opera as the fifth browser that can stream games directly.
For GeForce Now Ultimate subscribers, this means they can now stream PC games in Firefox at up to 1440p and 120fps, without needing to install a separate client or switch to another browser. GeForce Now currently supports over 2,000 games, letting players stream titles they already own or subscribe to on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox PC Game Pass, and Ubisoft Connect, with the service available across PCs, tablets, phones, TVs, and handhelds.
Mozilla says users have long been requesting GeForce Now support, and it took months of collaboration with NVIDIA to finally get Firefox on board. For gamers who prefer Firefox but don't own a high-end console, and aren't looking to shell out for a new PC given today's prices, this update fills in the last remaining gap.
