Rock in Taichung Starts October 31: Four Free Stages, 50 Acts and a Guide to the Two-Day Lineup

Wenxin Forest Park and Fulfillment Amphitheatre host two days of music. From FUJI ROCK’s emerging-artist exchange to the Gyeonggi Content Agency partnership, choose a day before mapping your stages.

Rock in Taichung Starts October 31: Four Free Stages, 50 Acts and a Guide to the Two-Day Lineup

Rock in Taichung 2026 takes place on October 31 and November 1 at Wenxin Forest Park and Fulfillment Amphitheatre, with free entry. The latest official programme lists four stages and 50 acts from Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore and elsewhere. Its 19th edition combines familiar Taiwanese bands with the continuing FUJI ROCK rookie-stage exchange and a first partnership with Korea’s Gyeonggi Content Agency. Reading the two-day programme matters more than fitting every name into one day.

Taiwanese acts are spread across two days: choose the combination you want

October 31 includes MIXER, Flesh Juicer, Mango Jump, ANN, Easy Weeds, Thick Big Band and Captain Ordinary, among others. November 1 features icyball, Sorry Youth, Sweet John, KST, GGteens and P!SCO. These are the official daily lineups, not running orders. Whether you prefer heavier rock, Taiwanese-language songwriting or melodic bands, start with the dates of your priorities before deciding on one day or two.

Four stages also mean performances may overlap. A practical approach is to mark two or three must-see acts on the official timetable, then compare the locations and times of the adjacent sets, rather than treating 50 acts as a sequential single-stage programme. Wenxin Forest Park and Fulfillment Amphitheatre form the event grounds; read the official map alongside entrances, stages and walking routes. Specific start times belong to each day’s timetable.

What does the exchange from Naeba to Taichung bring?

This is Rock in Taichung’s third collaboration with FUJI ROCK’s ROOKIE A GO-GO stage. A_Root represented Taichung in Naeba in July; Tokyo trio Hashirikomies and Yokohama band yubiori now visit Taiwan, both listed for October 31. The exchange involves more than inviting foreign guests: Taiwanese emerging artists travel first, then creators from another scene come back into the city.

Korea’s Gyeonggi Content Agency, GCA, recommends Confined White, playing October 31. Youth Pop-Rock band CATCH THE YOUNG appears November 1. Japanese idol group THE ORCHESTRA TOKYO is scheduled for the first day and Zenbu Kiminoseida. for the second. Bands, idols and different live formats therefore sit alongside one another, inviting choices beyond the assumption that a single genre defines the whole event.

Free entry: where are the venue and the latest programme?

The address is No. 289, Section 1, Wenxin Road, Nantun District, Taichung. The event is organised by Taichung City Government’s Information Bureau, produced by Sanlih Television, with support from Emerge Music and Sound Live House. Official information also lists Thailand’s Slapkiss and UGOSLABIER, and Singapore’s Goose, extending the international exchange beyond Japan and Korea. Admission is free; food and other purchases follow the individual arrangements on site.

The city government’s event calendar confirms the dates, while Fulfillment Amphitheatre’s website has published both daily lineups and the timetable. Map out your date, priority acts and walking route first, then leave room for unfamiliar names. That makes it possible to enjoy both a familiar home scene and discoveries brought by the emerging-artist exchange.
