The Air Jordan 1, an iconic silhouette born on the basketball court, is now stepping onto the football field's turf. Jordan Brand has released the Air Jordan 1 TD Cleat "Electric Green," dropping both Mid TD and Low TD height versions, bringing the basketball shoe's paneling design entirely into cleat specifications.
The colorway pairs a neon-tinged Electric Green with a white base, and the upper is built from synthetic leather — not for retro vibes, but to hold up against the pulling and friction of football gameplay. The AJ1's signature upper paneling and branding are all retained, but every cut had to pass the "will this compromise protection or durability" test before aesthetics even entered the conversation.
What really determines whether this shoe performs comes down to the outsole: the cleat plate features a wide-set stud configuration for quick stops and direction changes, with additional traction units on the outside providing grip across different turf surfaces. The visual language of the basketball shoe remains, but the entire logic of the build now serves on-field movement.
