Wales Bonner × adidas FW26 arrives October 29: leather, embossed shoes and suede
Wales Bonner’s website launch is 17:00 Taipei time. Three official photographs offer a closer look at surfaces and styling; other retailers have separate arrangements.
adidas Originals and Wales Bonner will release their Fall/Winter 2026 collaboration on October 29. Wales Bonner lists 09:00 GMT for its website, equivalent to 17:00 in Taipei that day. A Taiwanese reader viewing the announcement in the morning is therefore seeing a launch preview, rather than confirmation that orders are already open. A dark leather jacket, embossed low-tops and light suede shoes provide three ways to examine how surface texture changes the mood of sportswear.
Reading shine and proportion in the leather jacket
Begin with the leather jacket in the official campaign photograph. A zip runs down the front, horizontal seams divide the body into panels, and bands extend along the sleeves toward the cuffs. Reflections vary across the dark leather: folds catch more light while the sides and inner arms appear darker. A pale high-neck layer creates a clear ring of light at the neckline, drawing attention to the space between the face and raised collar.
The lower part of the look uses burgundy trousers instead of a matching head-to-toe outfit. As a styling reference, the interesting relationship is between the glossy upper layer and the softer-looking trouser surface, with the zip and sleeve bands extending the silhouette. A photograph can show these proportions, but cannot establish warmth, how the leather feels or how freely it moves. Size and material information still matter when selecting a garment.
Embossed low-tops: separate the upper from the sole
The second official still life places two dark brown low-tops upright, one showing its sole and the other its upper. Irregular embossed shapes on the upper contrast with the tightly intersecting grid underneath. Gold-toned eyelets stand out against the dark surface, while crossed, hanging laces keep the dressier-looking leather connected to everyday sneakers. The arrangement also distinguishes surface decoration from the structure that actually meets the ground.
Upright dark brown embossed low-tops show the upper, gold-toned eyelets and outsole from contrasting sides.
The brand names this style Karintha Croc and describes crocodile-stamped leather; the name alone should not be read as proof of genuine crocodile hide. Texture, lines and eyelet placement are visible, but a sole photograph does not establish grip, durability or arch support. For autumn styling, first consider how much of the upper a trouser hem covers, then decide whether the embossing should be a focal point or a subtle tonal connection.
Light suede and the different launch channels
The third image shows light Adizero Adios Suede shoes. Raised, craft-like Three Stripes stand out along the sides; vivid blue inside the collar contrasts with the grey-white uppers and darker outsole edge. The overlapping arrangement reveals both the profile and toe shape. Beside the brown embossed pair, the light shoes read as softer and more matte, while the darker pair draws presence from reflection and pattern. The distinction goes beyond colour.
Light suede shoes combine blue collar lining with raised Three Stripes for contrasting texture.
Check purchasing arrangements separately for each channel. The 09:00 GMT time applies to Wales Bonner’s announced website launch. adidas also lists October 29 for adidas.com, Confirmed and selected retailers; that does not establish a simultaneous 17:00 Taipei launch in every market. We do not convert market-specific sterling prices into a Taiwanese retail price or guarantee Taiwan delivery, sizes or stock.
