HELEMENT × TOKYO CRAFTS launches November 6: padded jacket, corduroy vest and bouclé anorak

TOKYO CRAFTS of Japan and Korea's HELEMENT plan to release their 2026 autumn/winter collaboration on November 6 at 19:00 Japan time, or 18:00 in Taipei. The three pieces are the PARABOLA padded jacket, corduroy fleece vest and ROCHE knit anorak. Different surface textures and layering roles make this more than a logo change. Choosing a first piece can begin with identifying the layer missing from an existing everyday wardrobe.

PARABOLA builds volume through curved construction

The black PARABOLA jacket costs ¥52,800 including Japanese tax and comes in M, L and XL. Its shell is 70% cotton and 30% nylon, with a nylon lining and polyester insulation. It is therefore synthetically padded rather than a down jacket. A low stand collar, pleated sleeves and a hem drawcord shape the neckline, arm room and body outline, while a zipped left-sleeve pocket provides another place for small items.

Garment measurements add information a styling image cannot supply. Size M has an approximately 80cm centre-back length and 68.5cm flat body width; L measures about 82cm and 71cm. These are garment dimensions, not recommended body chest measurements. Comparing them with a familiar jacket that accommodates layering is more useful than automatically choosing the same letter size across brands. The complete outfit and accessories in a photograph are not all included with the jacket.

Corduroy vest: large pockets and side adjustment

The dark-brown corduroy fleece vest costs ¥28,600 including tax, in L and XL. Wide corduroy ribs give its surface a clear vertical texture; fleece lines the inner back, and dimensional pockets sit at the front and rear. Side belts adjust the body width for different combinations of shirts, knits and heavier layers. Storage and layering are its main distinctions; a sleeveless piece should not be treated as a complete winter outer coat.

Its cotton shell does not mean every lining panel is identical: one is polyester, another 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Size L has an approximately 60cm flat body width and 65cm length; XL measures about 62.5cm and 67cm. When wearing it over a roomy top, assess the armhole and arm movement as well as front width. Generous-looking pockets do not by themselves ensure a comfortable fit around the underarm.

ROCHE's chest flap is decoration, not storage

The dark-brown ROCHE knit anorak costs ¥24,200 including tax and comes in L, XL and XXL. Bouclé yarn creates an uneven, softly raised surface, contrasting with woven fabric on the placket. The official specifications explicitly identify the chest pocket as decorative, with no storage function. It should be considered a knit top with outdoor-inspired detailing, rather than confused with the vest's functional pocket arrangement.

Its main fabric is 44% acrylic, 24% polyester, 22% nylon, 8% wool and 2% polyurethane, rather than pure wool. Size L has an approximately 66cm centre-back length and 58cm flat chest width; XL and XXL measure 68/60.5cm and 70/63cm respectively. Beyond colour, comparing the neckline and sleeves with an existing outer layer helps preserve room for movement when the textured knit is worn underneath.
