NORDISK Korea’s lightweight outerwear sales rise: choosing down or Nordic-pattern fleece
NORDISK reports light-down sales up 199% and fleece up 152%. Compare LOCI Light and Hygge hooded fleece through silhouette, two-way zips, garment measurements and conditional Korean prices.
NORDISK Korea’s autumn/winter sales update published October 27 identifies lightweight down and fleece as growth drivers. Sales of its 2026 autumn/winter lightweight down jackets rose 199% year on year, while fleece jackets rose 152%. These are figures supplied by the brand, not rankings for the entire Korean market. For readers choosing an everyday jacket, the more useful question beyond those numbers is how down and patterned fleece differ in silhouette, layering and measurements.
Keep the reporting periods separate
A different dataset concerns the October 19–25 MUSINSA Showcase: NORDISK sales rose 182% against the equivalent period in the previous week and 136% year on year. Down and jackets together accounted for about 85% of sales during that event. Those results relate to a specific platform and week, and should not be merged with the seasonal 199% figure. The brand attributes demand to lightness, warmth and designs that fit everyday life.
These products share the possibility of being worn as outer layers or combined with another jacket in colder weather. For commuters and travelers moving between indoors and outdoors, visible thickness is only part of the choice. Shoulder and chest room under another layer, and how hoods, hems and inner garments overlap, also matter. The LOCI Light and Hygge patterned fleece represent two distinct surface treatments within that discussion.
Light down versus patterned fleece
The LOCI Light Crystal Down hooded jacket pairs a restrained volume with a relaxed fit. The official Blue GRAY product images show horizontal quilting, a hood and zipped side pockets, using subtle tonal texture rather than a large pattern. Its visual emphasis is on light volume that can combine with shirts, knitwear or another outer layer. The Crystal Down name alone does not establish fill ratios, fill power or a temperature rating.

The Hygge Nordic Pattern hooded fleece puts the pattern first. Its beige version contrasts geometric motifs with a brown hood and pocket edges. It uses 3M Thinsulate insulation, a water-repellent woven hood, a relaxed fit and a two-way zip. The water-repellent description concerns the hood material; it does not make the whole fleece a waterproof rain jacket. Women’s and children’s versions are also offered in the range, but their measurements need checking separately.

Measurements are more useful than a size label
For size 100 in the two Korean unisex listings, the Blue GRAY down jacket measures 124 cm around the chest and 68 cm in length; the beige hooded fleece measures 122 cm and 69 cm respectively. Identical size numbers do not mean identical silhouettes. These are garment measurements, not recommended body chest measurements. Compare them with a jacket you already wear, particularly when planning a thicker inner layer rather than relying only on your usual shirt size.
As of October 27, both official Korean product pages show a regular price of KRW259,000 and a maximum-benefit price of KRW219,000 using a KRW40,000 coupon. The pages note that the coupon must be applied at checkout. These are Korean-channel prices and conditions, not Taiwanese pricing or a promise of international delivery. Enter the product pages through NORDISK Korea’s official brand page to check colors, measurements and current offers. Choose around your layering needs rather than treating sales growth as proof of performance.
