DIEMME × Pilgrim CORNARO Combines Three Leather Textures, With Delivery Estimated for Late December
The exclusive CORNARO is available for preorder through BEAMS Japan at ¥72,600 including tax. Suede, nubuck and smooth leather meet bright laces, with delivery estimated for late December rather than immediate availability.
A substantial sole, metal lace hardware and brightly colored cords are the immediate visual cues of this DIEMME CORNARO. Pilgrim Surf+Supply’s autumn and winter special order for the Italian footwear label compresses mountain-boot vocabulary into a low-cut silhouette. It is currently available for preorder on BEAMS Japan’s website at ¥72,600 including tax. The official delivery estimate is late December 2026 and may change with production. The October 26 introduction does not mean the shoes are already widely in stock.
Three leather surfaces create depth within black and brown
Instead of combining large blocks of contrasting colors, the design shifts between suede, nubuck and smooth leather within related tones. The black version appears uniform from toe to heel, but closer inspection reveals a textured midsection, smoother rear panels and a dark covering around the toe. The brown version also uses differences in shade and surface to separate its panels, making the substantial shoe legible through details rather than an oversized graphic.
An overhead view of the brown pair allows comparison of collar, tongue and upper textures.
BEAMS officially lists BLACK2 and BROWN, with cowhide uppers and production in Italy, under item number 36-32-0064-499. Those details identify this particular seasonal special order rather than universal specifications for every CORNARO. A similar black color or price does not justify transferring another retailer’s exclusive leather, reflective laces or release date to this edition.
Bright laces turn outdoor structure into a streetwear accent
The black pair uses fluorescent yellow-green laces, while photographs of the brown pair show pink-toned cords. Their crossing lines concentrate color at the center of the foot against dark metal hardware and soles. The official description specifically notes updated laces for the black Fall/Winter 2026 version. The original introduction additionally mentions a choice between bright and body-toned laces; confirm what is actually supplied with the retailer when ordering rather than treating photographed styling as a guarantee across every version.

Side photographs show a thick midsole profile and a patterned outsole, while the low collar reduces the visual weight of a conventional tall hiking boot. Under wide trousers, the toe and bright laces can retain their presence below the hem; shorter trousers expose more of the relationship between collar and socks. These are styling observations, not wear-test results. Outsole patterns alone cannot establish performance on ice, a waterproof rating or suitability for high-mountain routes.

Read sizing and the December delivery estimate carefully
Official sizes run from 39 to 44, corresponding at the ends of the chart to 24.5 and 28.5 centimeters. Each increase in numbered size does not translate to a fixed additional centimeter. For a fitting or inquiry, provide the item number, usual foot length and width, and intended sock thickness rather than only a sneaker size. The brand describes enclosure and stability as design aims, but suitability for an individual foot requires confirmation. Product descriptions do not promise that a shoe fits everybody.
Check the BEAMS CORNARO product page for current preorder information. BEAMS also explains that preorders reserve inventory rather than guaranteeing earlier delivery than ordinary orders, and sample photographs may differ slightly from final colors or specifications. The Japanese tax-inclusive price does not cover every cost of ordering internationally to Taiwan. This edition’s interest lies in preserving the substance of leather footwear through tonal textures, then opening up its rhythm with a conspicuous set of laces.
