No press release, no big fanfare — Nintendo simply slipped several new stops into the existing tour schedule. On the night of September 28, the official venue list for The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Orchestra Concert World Tour was quietly updated, adding Carnegie Hall in New York, Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles all at once — each clearly marked "new date."
The tour was first announced during a special Zelda Direct presentation earlier this month. As soon as the original 27-date lineup dropped, fans online started complaining that there simply weren't enough shows and that the geographic coverage was too narrow. Nintendo's newly added dates effectively serve as a response to that backlash — while the company hasn't officially confirmed whether the additions were prompted by the criticism, the timing lines up closely with the wave of complaints.
The tour kicks off on January 23, 2027 at Tokyo Garden Theater, before making its way through Japan, Europe, North America, and Australia. Confirmed venues so far include Fukuoka Civic Hall, Sapporo Culture and Arts Theater Hitaru, ROHM Theatre Kyoto, Royal Albert Hall in London, Hamer Hall in Melbourne, Stockholm Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House, Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Jones Hall for the Performing Arts in Houston, Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia, as well as Usher Hall in Edinburgh and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. A date for the San Francisco stop at Davies Symphony Hall has yet to be announced.
