The monthly fee for Apple TV in the United States has been increased from US$13 to US$15, and the annual fee has increased simultaneously from US$20 to US$120. The Apple One personal plan has also increased to US$22 per month, which is immediately applicable to new subscribers.

Apple TV monthly fee rises to $15, fourth increase in four years

Before you catch up on the next season of Severance, take a look at the bill. Apple has quietly raised the price of Apple TV subscriptions in the United States, with the monthly fee rising from $13 to $15 and the annual fee from $100 to $120.

The Apple One personal plan that includes Apple TV has also increased by $2, to $22 per month; other Apple One plans have temporarily maintained their original prices. According to "The Hollywood Reporter", the new price will take effect immediately for new subscribers, while existing subscribers will receive a notification one month before the price increase. Engadget has asked Apple whether other regions will increase simultaneously, but has yet to receive a reply.

This is the fourth price increase for Apple TV in four years. Since its launch in 2019, U.S. monthly fees have tripled. Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube Premium have all raised prices this year, and ESPN’s plans will follow suit next month.

Apple usually includes three months of Apple TV access with the purchase of certain devices—if you're planning on upgrading to a new iPhone when it's released, I'm afraid this discount won't help much. The market expects that the price of iPhones this year will rise due to price increases in other Apple product lines. According to rumors, Apple may only launch the Pro series at its September conference, and the regular iPhone 18 will not be unveiled until next spring.
