L'On Bangkok's Bangkok Art Walk is setting up this year along both banks of Khlong Lod Wat Ratchabophit, stretching between Fueng Nakhon Road and Atsadang Road, from July 24 to 31, daily from 10am to 9pm. In short, it's basically a museum moved onto the sidewalk: live painting, live performances, craft stalls, and open-air exhibitions lined up along the waterfront, with food and drink stands scattered in between. The organizers' logic is straightforward: art shouldn't be locked away in stiff, formal institutions — it should flow like the water of Khlong Lod, right into the community, spread out on the street where people can stumble upon it.
