Hong Kong and Japan Team Up: Eight Breweries Descend on PMQ for FLOCKFEST 2026 This September

50 beers, 20 taps, 8 cross-border collaborations — that's the lineup Black Kite Brewery has drawn up for FLOCKFEST 2026. The three-day beer and music festival runs from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the courtyard of PMQ in Central, with free entry.

On the brewery front, Black Kite Brewery is joined by three fellow Hong Kong outfits — Yardley Brothers, hEROES Beer Co, and Deadman Brewery — holding down the home turf, alongside four breweries making the trip from Japan: West Coast Brewing, Far Yeast Brewing, Black Tide Brewing, and DD4D Brewing. With eight breweries and eight city styles pouring side by side in the same courtyard, the real highlight lands on the eight collaboration beers — brews that actually came out of Hong Kong and Japanese breweries sitting down together, not just setting up separate booths.

Beyond the beer, local food vendors are on hand to line stomachs: Chin Teng will serve up noodles and street snacks, while Sonny's Slice Shop handles the pizza. Soundtracking the three days will be 15 local independent acts taking turns on stage, including Biascut, Reggie the Leaf, and The Black Lodge Cabaret.

Admission is free, with drink and merch bundles set to open for online pre-order — though the sale date has yet to be announced.
