A leather hooded jacket inspired by Freja, the Danish sniper from Overwatch. When Huh Yunjin took the BlizzCon stage, she explained the look first, then Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae each revealed which character their own outfit paid tribute to. It's the kind of tacit understanding LE SSERAFIM shares with Overwatch — one concert, five outfits, each hiding its own easter egg.
On the night of September 13, the five-member group spanning South Korea, Japan, and the U.S. took the main stage at the Anaheim Convention Center, returning as BlizzCon's closing act for the first time in three years — the last time was in 2023, which also marked the start of their partnership with Overwatch. The 45-minute set opened with "BOOMPALA," which playfully samples "Macarena," as Yunjin shouted to the crowd, "We just dropped our new single 'Made My Night,' and tonight's its first-ever live performance, so get ready!"
"Made My Night" is the latest product of this ongoing partnership. On stage, Kazuha revealed that the song was actually inspired by the relationship between the game characters D.Mon and D.Va, saying it's "about that special chemistry between friends." Yunjin immediately followed up: "Just like us! This song is dedicated to all the D.Mon and D.Va fans out there." That single line tied the new track's creative backstory to the group's own bond, adding an extra layer of meaning to this debut performance.
The full setlist ran twelve songs, moving from the electronic beats of "CELEBRATION" and "ICONIC BY MISTAKE" (a collaboration with ILLIT and KATSEYE, though only LE SSERAFIM's verses and the outro were performed this time), all the way through older tracks like "ANTIFRAGILE" and "UNFORGIVEN." Midway through, they paused to acknowledge the cosplayers seated in the front rows, and Yunjin also took the moment to mention the Overwatch World Cup, which had wrapped earlier that same day: "Congratulations to Team Korea for winning this year's championship — we're fully behind you." They then dedicated their first Overwatch collaboration track from 2023, "Perfect Night," to "our Overwatch family."
The brand partnership, which kicked off in late 2023, has now produced a second exclusive single and marked LE SSERAFIM's third appearance on this gamer-centric stage. Highlights from the night's performance and further details have already been shared by the group on their official social media accounts.
