Apple is usually a master at keeping new products under wraps until the keynote, but this time it may have been undone by its own operating system. The macOS Tahoe 27.6 candidate build had already leaked camera-equipped AirPods, but according to MacRumors, that's just the tip of the iceberg—the code reportedly contains codenames spanning nearly the entire fall lineup, from iPhones to home devices to headphones.

MacRumors notes these codenames could still be placeholder names, and the actual products they correspond to haven't been confirmed by Apple. Still, they're enough to give outside observers a much clearer picture of what to expect at the upcoming September event.

V62 to V68: Codenames for the Entire iPhone 18 Lineup and Foldable Model Revealed

According to the report, codenames V62, V63, V64, V67, and V68 found in Tahoe 27.6 correspond respectively to the iPhone Air 2, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone 18, and the foldable iPhone Ultra model that's been dubbed "The Folding One." These models are expected to debut at Apple's customary September iPhone event, though an official date hasn't been announced yet.

Home Hub, HomePod Mini, and a Full Lineup of Audio and Video Accessories

The system codenames J490 and B525 are believed to point to Apple's rumored Home Hub and HomePod Mini, respectively. The Home Hub is said to feature a 7-inch display running a new system called homeOS, with an interface design resembling the iPhone's StandBy mode. The HomePod Mini, meanwhile, is rumored to support a new version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence. Both are expected to launch this fall.

There are plenty of clues about headphones and video accessories too: besides the previously leaked camera-equipped AirPods, the code also reveals two new Beats headphone models and the AirPods Pro 4. The codename N109 is believed to possibly correspond to a second-generation Vision Pro headset, while ATVRemote1 is interpreted as a new Apple TV remote—hinting that a new Apple TV box is also on the way. MacRumors also spotted the codename J510, which is speculated to be the rumored iPad Mini featuring an OLED display and A19 Pro chip. Additionally, the code repeatedly references strings related to the MacBook Pro and iMac, with the MacBook Pro believed to possibly correspond to a rumored M6 version.

None of these codenames are entirely new information on their own—most of these products have already appeared in previous rumors. What Tahoe 27.6 adds is a layer of system-level corroboration for those rumors. Apple hasn't announced an official date for its September event yet, but observers expect invitations to go out soon.
