Brio Bangkok revisits the Italian table with Prosecco & Pizza: wood-fired pizzas, duck pappardelle and a dining budget
Brio at Anantara Riverside Bangkok presents its Prosecco & Pizza dining theme. Explore the current menu, desserts, taxes and opening hours, from THB550 Double Pepperoni pizza to THB390 spinach pappardelle with duck ragù.
Putting a pizza in the middle of the table and choosing a plate of pasta each is a straightforward way to organise dinner with friends. Brio, inside Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, is currently presenting “Prosecco & Pizza”, bringing wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta and sparkling wine into one dining setting. This is a dining theme at an established restaurant, rather than a new opening. The chef, dishes and budget provide useful starting points for anyone seeking Italian food.
A Roman chef, wooden tables and red walls
Chef Fabio Nicastro was born and raised in Rome, and his career has also taken him to Sydney. The restaurant describes its setting as contemporary Tuscan-inspired. Its published interior photographs show dark wooden tables and chairs, red walls, white brickwork and wine shelving holding attention around table level; pizza and pasta posters state the theme directly. The hotel’s riverside location does not mean every Brio table has a river view. These photographs are useful for understanding the interior arrangement and atmosphere for a gathering.

Double Pepperoni costs THB550 and combines Italian pepperoni, mozzarella and tomato sauce. In the publicity photograph, the round pizza sits on a wooden board, its outer crust forming a clear border around closely arranged red slices of meat. Boscaiola, at THB490, combines pork sausage, porcini, smoked cheese and truffle ingredients. A table wanting to compare the two can move from the meat-and-tomato combination towards mushrooms, cheese and truffle aromas; this is a comparison of the menu’s compositions.
Compare two pasta shapes and two desserts
One pasta starting point is Pappardelle Verdi al Ragu d’Anatra at THB390: homemade spinach pappardelle with tomato duck ragù, Pecorino and fennel seeds. In its photograph, the broad green ribbons fold together at the centre of a white plate, with sauce and grated cheese concentrated above; the pasta shape itself is a visual focus. Pansotti al Nero, at THB450, wraps smoked salmon, ricotta, lemon zest and dill in squid-ink pasta, served with lobster-bisque sauce. Broad ribbons and filled pasta create two different structures.

Desserts also invite a comparison of components. Mascarpone al Limone costs THB310 and combines lemon mascarpone, citrus-mint jelly and pistachio-coconut cake. Millefoglie ai Frutti di Bosco, at THB290, brings together puff pastry, Chantilly cream and mixed berries. The publicity photograph arranges the plates one behind the other, contrasting the pale-yellow portion and green frozen accompaniment with berry-red sauce behind. The house tiramisu costs THB360; its listed espresso and Kahlua ingredients make it an alcoholic dessert.

What does a THB1,250 food subtotal include?
How might you estimate the bill? A THB550 pizza, THB390 duck pappardelle and THB310 lemon dessert add up to THB1,250. That is the sum of three à la carte food prices, without drinks. The menu specifies government tax and a 10% service charge in addition, so THB1,250 is not the final bill. The name “Prosecco & Pizza” does not establish a fixed-price food-and-wine package either. Ask about glass or bottle options and that day’s availability before deciding on drinks.
Brio serves lunch daily from 12:00 to 15:00 and dinner from 17:00 to 22:00. Reservations can be made on +66 2 431 9489. The official restaurant page and current menu provide the full selection. There is no need to order everything at once: choose a pizza to share, add ribbon or filled pasta according to the group’s size, and then decide on desserts and drinks. This makes the meal’s pace and spending easier to judge than its theme name alone.
