Central Dolce Italia 2026 until November 24: reading Italian design through menswear, eyewear and coffee tools
Central Department Store, the Italian Embassy and ITA present the fourth Dolce Italia. Central Chidlom’s main campaign continues until November 24, with Phuket’s roadshow ending October 28. Six publicity photographs connect fashion and homeware.
Italian lifestyle can be more than a suit or a cup of coffee: eyewear, swimwear, bags and household objects can form a shared route through design. CENTRAL DOLCE ITALIA 2026 began on September 29, with the main campaign at Central Chidlom in Bangkok running until November 24. Central Department Store, the Embassy of Italy in Thailand and the Italian Trade Agency, ITA, jointly organise this fourth edition. Under the theme Architecture in Style, the commercial retail campaign brings fashion, craft, beauty and everyday objects into one programme.
Start with eyewear and men’s swimwear among five new brands
The campaign brings together more than 50 Italian brands and highlights five newcomers: OKKIA eyewear, GASSA D’AMANTE men’s swimwear, INZU sculptural bags, LORISTELLA leather bags and MARNI KIDS childrenswear. For male readers, eyewear and swimwear provide two accessible points of comparison: one changes the framing of the face, while the other connects holidays with everyday leisure. Start with a category you already use, then consider how an unfamiliar brand handles shape and proportion.
The eyewear display in the publicity photographs provides something concrete to examine. Green shelves hold rounded frames alongside outward-pointing cat-eye shapes, with some frames moving from black towards brown. Articulated wooden hands replace a conventional flat display, raising several pairs to different angles. The arrangement invites comparison of silhouettes before returning to temples, bridges and lens coverage. It does not establish protection ratings or guarantee fit; individual model information remains relevant when shopping.

Red-and-green cabinets connect fashion and homeware
Another photograph places blue SMEG appliances, red-and-green patterned cups, moka pots and a straw-hatted mannequin together. Objects belonging to kitchens, tables and wardrobes are connected by green cabinets and red outer frames. A large green cup-like installation creates a difference in scale beside actual cups. These arrangements give lifestyle a visible substance, extending beyond a list of brands or a label of national origin.
Green cabinets, red frames and a mannequin bring coffee equipment, cups and styling into one homeware display.
The bag and clothing display also crosses categories. A blue shoulder bag hangs on a mannequin beside a yellow striped drape and pink-and-white childrenswear, with small white bags behind. Curves, blocks of colour and the relative sizes of objects are useful comparisons, rather than assuming that designs from one country must look alike. Red-and-green, trunk-like cabinets frame clothing and homeware together, connecting ideas of movement, holidays and domestic life.

Bangkok and Phuket continue; Chiang Mai has ended
The kickoff, which has already taken place, was held at Central at centralwOrld, with Dunk Natachai and Lena Lalina attending alongside fashion, music and dining content. That event is distinct from the full campaign period at Chidlom. Opening photographs cannot guarantee daily celebrity appearances or performances. Beauty and craft experiences are also included, but dates, counters and booking conditions differ; check the arrangements for a particular session before planning around it.
Three locations need to be distinguished. The main Central Chidlom campaign runs until November 24, 2026. Central Phuket’s October 22–28 roadshow is still within its programme period, while Central Festival Chiang Mai’s October 10–16 roadshow has ended. Consult the official Central campaign page for current brands and in-store promotions, or enquire through 1425. One useful viewing route is to move from eyewear to bags and coffee tools, considering how small objects collectively construct a lifestyle scene.
