eaJ’s Six-Track EP Examines the Responsibility of Being in Love

eaJ has released the six-track EP the responsibility of being in love, addressing closeness, self-worth and unease within intimate relationships. Korean platform Genie lists October 23 as its release date and Position Music as the label; Korean coverage published on October 25 focuses on anxiety.

Six tracks: put the singles back into the EP

The official sequence is feel myself, anxiety, easy, put it on me, blinded and get the hell away from me. Feel myself first appeared on August 14, blinded on September 18, while put it on me already had a single release on September 19, 2025. Returning them to this sequence reveals both new material and songs from different moments assembled into one EP, rather than six tracks all being unveiled for the first time.

According to the release material, feel myself concerns rediscovering oneself; blinded addresses the contradiction of wanting to escape as love comes closer. The advance songs therefore do more than prepare a release: they place identity and the ability to accept someone else on a shared line. Listeners new to eaJ can begin with those questions, then return to the complete sequence to consider how the tracks relate.

Anxiety brings unease into the question of love

The focus track anxiety was produced by Inverness. Release material situates it in high-energy alternative pop and hyperpop, linking it to eaJ’s account of a panic attack while flying to Lisbon in 2019. This is a publicly discussed creative background, not a diagnosis of listeners. Bringing the experience into the project shifts attention beyond what the other person does in a relationship, towards how intimacy interacts with feelings that already exist within oneself.

The introduction also connects easy with the patience needed to sustain a relationship, while the gentler arrangements of get the hell away from me and blinded accompany uncertainty. These clues offer one approach to the six songs: notice how retreat, the desire to be understood and willingness to stay can coexist. This is the emotional structure described in the release, without requiring every title to be matched to a verified private romance in the singer’s life.

Solo writing after DAY6, the artwork and where to begin

eaJ, also known as Jae Park, was a vocalist and guitarist in DAY6, while his solo releases have built a separate narrative. The current release material looks back to the 2023 insomnia projects, when the rain stopped following me in 2024 and 1 in 2025, connecting the new EP’s intimacy and unease with earlier self-reflection.

The new cover uses a dark ground and a horizontally blurred figure, keeping the EP title and eaJ lettering at the top to contrast readable words with an unstable outline. The other image is a publicity photograph used with this release’s coverage; its shooting context is not identified. Search the full English EP title and eaJ on a music platform, try the official six-track sequence, then revisit the single videos. Platforms’ title-track labels can differ from promotional focus tracks; use the album page for the sequence.
