This Kuchofuku Air-Conditioned Short Sleeve Work Shirt was co-developed by Aoyama Suits and FZN, a brand specializing in fan-equipped apparel. At its core is the "Kuchofuku" (air-conditioned clothing) technology that's already been battle-tested for years on construction sites and outdoor job sites. This time, the tech gets dressed up in a dress-shirt shell, so wearers don't have to wipe sweat and worry about a soaked, wrinkled shirt on the commute.
Each of the two fans weighs 95 grams and is deliberately positioned away from the direct center-back, angled toward the sides of the body instead — the logic being straightforward: no getting jabbed by hard fan housings when sitting in an office chair or leaning against a train seat back. The fans run on a detachable 165-gram rechargeable battery with three fan-speed settings — the highest pushes out roughly 53 liters of air per second and lasts about 3.5 hours; medium runs for 5 hours; the lowest setting stretches battery life to 10 hours, letting wearers pick based on commute length and weather.
The hem features a drawstring — not for a slimmer fit, but to stop air from escaping out the bottom, keeping cool air circulating inside to evaporate sweat. The full "Entry Complete SET" — including the shirt itself, two fans, connecting cables, and a portable battery — retails for 17,490 yen. It's available in sizes M, L, and XL, in navy blue and charcoal gray, through Aoyama Suits stores and its official website. The shirt itself is 100% polyester, and once the electronic components are removed, it can go straight into the washing machine — a practical touch for anyone wearing this to the office every day.
