Nintendo’s Starfield Game Festa starts October 30: nine games in Goyang, six in Hanam
Nintendo Switch 2 Game Festa runs October 30–November 8 in Goyang and Hanam, with different games and weekend characters. QR rewards have account and stock conditions.
Travelers hoping to try several Nintendo Switch 2 games in Korea can look out for Nintendo Switch 2 Game Festa at Starfield Goyang and Hanam, October 30–November 8. Nintendo Korea lists daily hours of 10:30–21:00, combining game demos, character photo spots and a stamp rally. The two venues differ in scale and weekend meet-and-greet characters. Choosing a location around the games you want is more useful than relying on the shared promotional image. As of October 27, the event has not begun.
Nine games in Goyang, six in Hanam
Goyang will offer nine titles, including Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, Pokémon Pokopia, Mario Kart World and Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, alongside Splatoon Raiders, Rhythm Heaven Groove and Orbitals. Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition with its planning-skills challenge and Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World are also listed, giving visitors a broader range of game types to compare.
Hanam will offer six: Sports Resort, Pokopia, Mario Kart World, Animal Crossing, Rhythm Heaven and the Pikmin title. Both venues have a date-specific exception: from October 30 through November 2, the Pikmin demo will be Pikmin 4, played on Nintendo Switch 2. The upgraded edition’s name does not mean the same version is available throughout the event. Anyone traveling specifically for it should note that four-day distinction.
Choose the venue for weekend character photos
Goyang will have photo spots featuring Pikmin, Kirby and other characters. Mario and Luigi mascots will appear at its Super Mario area on weekends. Taking a photo with either character qualifies visitors for one randomly selected sticker from two designs. At Hanam, weekend mascots will be Animal Crossing’s Tom Nook and Isabelle, with one random sticker from four Animal Crossing designs for participants who take a photo. These are not weekday appearances; characters and times may change with conditions, and gifts are limited.

Visitors interested in Kirby, Splatoon or Orbitals can look first at Goyang; those mainly seeking Animal Crossing mascots can consider Hanam’s weekend program. The announcement describes a plan, without guaranteeing demo length, queue speed or a photo with a particular character for every visitor.
What account is needed, and where are the venues?
After trying a game at either store, visitors can complete a QR check-in to participate in the Mario clear-folder giveaway. An eligible Nintendo Account for a person aged 14 or older is required, with one participation per account. Folders are limited and their design may change after stock runs out. Information collected through QR check-in is used under the Nintendo Account privacy policy and may support marketing such as email. Understand those account and data-use conditions before treating the gift as something freely collected without registration.
