Taipei Marriott holiday baskets: turkey or 50oz ribeye at NT$5,280, with collection dates explained
Both baskets include four sides, with 10% off purchases before November 23. Compare the main courses, the current four-day advance-order requirement and three daily collection slots from November 14.
Garden Kitchen at Taipei Marriott Hotel is taking orders for its 2026 Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, offering classic roast turkey or American ribeye at NT$5,280 per set. Purchases before November 23 receive 10% off. Orders close at 16:00 on December 26, subject to availability, while collection runs from November 14 to December 31. These dates serve different purposes: choose the gathering date first, then work backwards through ordering and collection.
Two main courses call for different table arrangements
The classic turkey basket centres on a whole roast bird of approximately 6kg, with turkey gravy and handmade cranberry sauce. The hotel’s press release says this year it uses Taiwan-raised turkey from Chiayi, prepared with lemon, thyme, rosemary and vegetables in the cavity. Honey marination, air-drying and a coating of butter precede roasting. These details explain the ingredients and announced method; the shine in a promotional photograph is not a tasting experience by this publication.
The official turkey-basket photograph shows a whole roast bird in a styled festive setting.
The alternative is a 50oz American ribeye with mushroom and red-wine sauces, prepared with herbs and staged roasting. Compared with carving a whole bird around its frame, sliced beef offers a different way to divide portions. Ask guests about their preferences before deciding which main suits the table. The 50oz specification describes the main course rather than the total basket and sides, and the cut shown in a photograph does not establish the doneness of every order.
Official American ribeye close-up; the cut is a product presentation rather than a promise of every order’s doneness.
Four shared sides, and a distinction between styling and contents
Both sets include sourdough bread, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and pecan tart. The main course and accompanying sauces provide the principal difference. If salads, soup or more dessert are also planned at home, account for those four inclusions before buying overlapping dishes. The hotel describes the baskets as suitable for roughly four to six people; appetites and the rest of the meal still affect how portions work in practice.
The official campaign photograph combines both mains, red gift boxes, fruit and vegetables on a festive table, with separate close-ups of the turkey and beef. Distinguish the styling from the listed order: pumpkins, whole corn and every decoration visible in the frame should not automatically be counted as basket contents. Mention the pecan tart when coordinating a group, and ask the restaurant about the actual recipe and possible adjustments before payment if ingredients are a concern.
Order at least four days ahead and choose a Dazhi collection slot
The current official page requires at least four days’ notice and payment of the full deposit before an order is confirmed. This supersedes the three-day lead time in the original October 15 press release. Collection runs November 14–December 31 at 12:30, 14:30 or 16:30 daily, rather than at any point across the afternoon. Pick up at Garden Kitchen on the hotel’s first floor, 199 Lequn 2nd Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei. Delivery is not offered.
Applying 10% off the NT$5,280 list price gives NT$4,752; the confirmed order determines payment. The early-purchase condition is before November 23 and does not mean every discounted basket must be collected in November. The offer cannot be combined with other discounts and does not earn Marriott Bonvoy points. Check the official Garden Kitchen basket and ordering information, or call 02-2175-7957 for availability. Coordinating ordering, payment, collection and the gathering makes it easier to connect a takeaway centrepiece with the rest of the meal.
