What if all those "sold" items you've scrolled past on Facebook Marketplace could suddenly become tangible—something you could walk up to and try on? That's the logic behind Facebook's Still Available pop-up in LA: not a product launch, but an attempt to translate an algorithm-driven secondhand marketplace into a physical space you can walk through, touch, and even catch a whiff of nostalgia in.

The VIP party on the night of July 23 kicked off the three-day experience on Melrose Avenue. The space was zoned according to Marketplace's most popular categories—fashion, autos, and home decor each got their own section—curated and hosted by creators including Justin Miller, Roxana Jullapat, Alexander the Tailor, Bella & Griffin, Madi Webb, Michael Washington, Vin Anatra, and Matt Starr of Dream Baby Press, who also led workshops throughout the space.

The most striking detail was Madi Webb's closet—not a conceptual installation, but an exact recreation of her real-life outfits, letting guests browse in person while pulling up matching listings on their phones. That "from outfit inspiration to checkout in under an hour" experience lines up perfectly with Marketplace's role as a hub for secondhand fashion.

Another corner was a candy store for Y2K nostalgia lovers: walls covered in posters, magazine covers, and media memorabilia from the '90s through the early 2000s, essentially turning the space into a ready-made photo backdrop.

On the music side, live sets from DJ Cailin Russo and KITTY CA$H added an immersive, scroll-through-the-feed kind of ambiance to the night—echoing the background-music feeling of endlessly browsing Marketplace listings. The party wound down with a classic LA backyard hang, as guests spilled into the alley behind the venue and continued the night at Ètra, capping things off in true summer-evening-gathering fashion.

Currently, the only confirmed details are that this three-day pop-up is taking place in Los Angeles; information on ticketing or any permanent retail presence has not yet been released.
