Namsan Night Festival is not daily: choosing outdoor films, a November foliage walk and a headphone DJ party
Seoul’s Namsan Night Festival runs through November 14, with separate dates for Campnic, walks and Palgak Club. Here are the upcoming sessions, the 4.2-kilometer route, booking rules and payments refunded after attendance.
A trip to Namsan need not revolve around going up the tower for night-view photos. Namsan Night Festival 2026 spreads lawn picnics at Baekbeom Square, woodland walks and a headphone DJ party outside Palgakjeong across different dates, within an overall October 23–November 14 period. Programs do not run every day: Sunday, October 25 is not listed as an operating date for these three activities, and the next Campnic sessions are October 30 and 31. Choose a date and experience before planning the trip rather than assuming the entire festival period means daily access.
Tents and films on the lawn, without overnight camping
Namsan Campnic combines camping and picnicking, with tent and picnic-mat zones at Baekbeom Square. It runs on six dates—October 23, 24, 30 and 31, and November 6 and 7—from 17:00 to 22:00. There are 100 groups per day, with up to four people per group. Programs include sunset FM stories and song requests, moonlight live performances and starlight outdoor films. Despite the camping reference, it is an evening picnic that finishes the same day, with no overnight stay.
The official FAQ lists basic equipment for each group: a table, chairs according to participant numbers, a lantern and two blankets. Tents or mats are set up for the reserved zone, and borrowed equipment must be returned. Outside food is allowed, but cooking and open flames are prohibited; deliveries must be collected personally from the designated pickup zone. The result is closer to a prepared outdoor city living room, suited to people who want an evening on the lawn without transporting a full camping kit.

The next walk is in November, and 4.2 kilometers is not a level park stroll
The first, 3.8-kilometer foliage route took place on October 23 and 24. The next walks, on November 6 and 7, use route two, starting at Namsan Yejang Park and passing the Northern Ring Road, Jangchung Gymnasium, Namsan Information Center and Northern Forest Path before ending at Namsangol Hanok Village. The current program page gives 4.2 kilometers and approximately two hours, differing from an earlier city introduction. Allow time for the return journey using the current route guidance.

Route two includes consecutive descending stair sections and has a higher organizer difficulty rating than route one. It is not an entirely accessible walk. Check your departure session when booking, account for the different start and finish points, and carry your bag and possessions yourself because the route has no luggage storage. Grippy shoes and adjustable warm layers are more practical than choosing clothes purely for photos. Planning to see autumn color also does not guarantee peak foliage everywhere on the day.
The headphone party is November 14: how do deposits work?
Palgak Club takes place outside Palgakjeong near N Seoul Tower on November 14, with sessions from 17:30 to 19:00 and 19:30 to 21:00, each accommodating 300 people. The silent DJ format sends music through headphones, sharing a rhythm against the same night view rather than bringing large loudspeakers to the mountaintop. Reservations are scheduled to open at 10:00 on November 2. The published page does not yet give a full DJ lineup, so it should not be presented as a particular singer’s show.
Campnic requires a KRW10,000 prepayment per group; the walk and Palgak Club each require KRW5,000 per person. These payments are intended to be refunded after attendance and participation are verified, rather than making the experience unconditionally cost-free. Sold-out Naver booking products may temporarily disappear and return when cancellations release places; consult the official booking page for attendance and refund terms.
